There
are many things in life that we take for granted or at face value. It is
limiting to just accept
something as it appears or seems without thinking about what else it could
mean. Careful
analysis is required to assess their full implications. Learn how we can
develop the power to discern.
Facilitator: Janardhan Chodagam is a board-certified IT
specialist working for IBM Business Intelligence Best Practices organization.
He teaches meditation and leads workshops at the Brahma Kumaris center in San Francisco, as well as

Enjoy exploring meditative tools to rekindle your natural qualities of peace, love, happiness and inner spiritual power. Raja Yoga is at the core of what we teach. It is an ancient spiritual discipline that can be used for relaxing, refreshing, and clearing the mind and heart, leading to a deeper experience of peace and positivity. It provides us with the spiritual knowledge and practice needed to strengthen ourselves from the inside out.
The foundation course starts every month, as noted by the date above, and meets once a week for three consecutive weeks. If needed, please ask about setting up a different class schedule for alternative times.

With special guest from the UK, Neville Hodgkinson
Silence rejuvenates the spirit and stills the mind, creating a space for me to understand events and recharge the battery of the soul. Silence plays a vital role in improving the quality of life.
Facilitator: Neville Hodgkinson is an author and journalist who has worked as medical and science correspondent of several national newspapers in the UK. His book “Will To Be Well” (Samuel Weiser, 1986) was one of the first to describe the intimate links between health and happiness in terms of modern scientific findings. Talk in English - Music - Vegetarian Dinner
Today there is a lot of violence in the world. We may feel helpless in the face of so much violence and ask: What can I do? Is there time? Know that what we do and how we do it, every single act, is important and significant. The power of conscious-ness is very great and the consciousness with which we act is significant.
Time is giving us the chance to become the best of who we are, the best that humanity can become.
“We question time. But to recognize time is to recognize yourself, to value the self and make life beneficial.”
Speaker: Raj Yogini Sheilubhen is an exceptional orator. She has spread the benefits of a meditative lifestyle through radio and TV. Her prolific broadcasts on Zee TV, Sony TV, and Asthan Channels are shown all over India and in several other countries. She obtained her Science Degree from Bombay University in 1969 and immediately dedicated her life to the organization in 1970.

Join
us for a discussion on how tolerance affects our personal lives and our
communities. Tolerance is inner strength which enables the individual to face
and transform difficulties. It recognizes individuality and diversity, yet
removes the barriers caused by ignorance. The seed of tolerance is love. We
need to sow that seed with compassion and care.
Facilitator: Hema Patel, teacher of Raja Yoga meditation for 28 years.
