A vegetarian diet is becoming an increasingly popular lifestyle choice for ethical, ecological and health reasons. Learn about the impact of food on our spirituality, ability to think, our health and on nourishing the soul.

This retreat offers an opportunity to understand the dynamics between food and thought, and how to nurture the whole self spiritually and physically through simple, yet powerful changes in our eating and food preparation habits, and creating a meditative environment while cooking.

This workshop throws light on the quintessential wisdom of learning, loving and leading your destiny towards fulfillment.

Janardhan Chodagam is a board-certified IT specialist working for IBM Business Intelligence Best Practices organization. He teaches meditation and leads workshops at the Brahma Kumaris center in San Francisco, as well as contributing his IT experience.

Elizabeth Padilla has been teaching RajaYoga meditation for 23 years. She has a professional theatre and musical background and has facilitated many seminars and workshops, including Positive Thinking, Leadership Management, Living Values, and Music & Mediation. She has 20 years of experience in office and project management.

Includes wholesome and delicious vegetarian meals, tea breaks, and 2-3 person shared accommodation with private bath.

Raja Yoga is an ancient system of meditation and spiritual understanding that enables you to stabilize the mind, reduce stress, release tension and pain, and enhance health and well-being. Raja Yoga offers a step-by-step approach to the practice of meditation. You begin to live from the inside out, expressing your qualities and strengths in a very natural way.

During the retreat you will learn to:

* understand the different levels of consciousness and access the power to exercise choice over thoughts, feelings, and responses;

* connect with the Divine;

* and make meditation and spirituality a part of your daily life.

Facilitators include:
Hema Patel, teacher of Raja Yoga meditation for 28 years.
Elizabeth Padilla, teacher of Raja Yoga meditation for 23 years and accomplished performing artist.
Kyoko Kimura, BA in Music Education and MA in flute performance. She teaches music, meditation and Living Values to people of all ages.
Jyotsna Vaghela, Raja Yoga meditation teacher for over 30 years in India, the Middle East, Africa and the US.
